One of the lessons I recently learned from Mindvalley is this: The universe does not give you what you want. IT GIVES YOU WHAT YOU HAVE BECOME.
This is the Law of Resonance as taught by Michael Beckwith.
I focus on the WHAT. And I expect the HOW to happen.
Last August, I set an impossible goal for our Unit. 50 headcount by the end of 2024 with high engagement and high active agent count. We were only 7 at that time, and 2 of our advisors were even inactive. From January to August this year, I only had 1 tagged recruit.
During my one on one with our SMT (Sales Management Team), he asked, "Gusto mo ba babaan ung target mo? Kase pwede naman." I said, "Push na po yan Sir." At the back of my mind, even if we hit only 50% of our goal, that is still 257% growth.
Merely two months later, I now have 3 appointed Unit Head Associates (UHAs) who have been helping me with our team's recruitment and production. They were all referrals. They are now my work besties who I do not know personally before. I am expecting to have my 5 UHAs in place before the month ends. I will have one for interview this week.
Last week, I received a message from our SMT asking if I can be one of the speakers for our hotel COP for Manulife Tarlac. Being an introvert and nervous in front of an audience, I could have declined. But then I remembered my impossible goal. Also, this is an opportunity that can help other leaders in their recruitment. In a heartbeat, I said YES.
We had our COP last Friday, October 18..
80 attendees!
10 came from our Unit, from which we had an almost 100% conversion! Only one was undecided. He arrived late because he was not feeling well, and came from a night shift. But still, he came. We will schedule a tabletop COP with him next week.
To date, we are now 22 in our team -- tagged FAs, for tagging and for exam included -- and I still have more than two months! With a collective effort, we have grown by 214%! And I am very proud because more than the headcount, we have highly engaged, producing and even recruiting Advisors.
The Law of Resonance
The Law of Resonance applied to me because while we are in the process of achieving our impossible goal, I have seen myself growing, too.
I allocated time for learning everyday.
I began exercising and eating healthier because I realized that I need to take care of my body so I can take care of my team better, as we continuously grow in numbers.
I began meditating everyday, envisioning my future, and tapping into my intuition more often.
I began talking to more people, conducting Career Orientation for our Unit at least once every week.
I shared my vision with our team, and we operate based on our Agency Philosophy.
I have HAPPINESS IN THE NOW and a VISION FOR THE FUTURE.
I learned not to tie my happiness in the goal. This means that I do not have to wait for our Unit to grow to 50 before I become happy.
I am happy exactly where we are today, while waking up everyday motivated towards our Vision.
To my Blazing Arians Unit, THIS IS OURS. It is my priviledge to lead you in this BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY. Loveyou team π
To my Branch Head Evangilyn Repil Cortez, I will not be here, and have not known that I can grow this much, and still growing, if you gave up in recruiting me. You taught me not to easily give up on my recruits. I AM HOME. THANK YOU π
